The Bedford Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery on Monday night.

Stephen Gingras, of Manchester, New Hampshire, is charged with unarmed robbery, larceny over $250, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and being a fugitive from justice. The charges are in connection with the robbery of a Citizens Bank inside Stop and Shop on Great Road in Bedford. He is also wanted on a robbery warrant out of Concord District Court and is a suspect in another bank robbery last week in Salem, New Hampshire.

A team of detectives tracked Gingras to a residence on Orton-Morotta Way in South Boston, where he was arrested at 2:41 a.m. on Wednesday. A firearm and ammunition were found in his possession during the arrest.

He appeared in the South Boston Division of Boston Municipal Court Wednesday.
