The Beverly, a 239-unit Beverly workforce and affordable housing development in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle, is accepting applications for its initial group of residents.

Developer Related Beal is building 239 apartments and a 220-room hotel at Causeway and Beverly Streets near TD Garden.

The workforce units will be available to households with annual incomes between $64,650-$198,000, with rents starting at $1,940 per month. The low-income units will be available to households with annual incomes of $17,578-$60,000, with rents starting at $492 per month. Applications are available at www.thebeverlyboston.com and due Sept. 6.

The development built on land leased from Massachusetts Department of Transportation will include a mix of pet-friendly studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and includes a top floor fitness center, entertainment room, children’s room and outdoor terrace. Completion is scheduled for January.

To reduce the developer’s costs, Boston officials in 2015 approved a 23-year 121A agreement in which Related Beal agreed to pay a percentage of revenues in place of property taxes.
