BioHelix Corporation, a local life science firm that has developed in vitro DNA amplification to conduct tests for staph infections, HIV and other STDs, has signed on to lease 10,000 square feet of research and development space in Beverly’s Cummings Center complex.
BioHelix’s President and CEO Dr. Huimin Kong, said The Cummings Center, which already provides 500,000 square feet of space for several other biotech companies, was simply the best fit.
"I chose Cummings Properties for its proven capabilities to provide an attractive, first-class facility to meet our research grant requirements and allow for long-term growth," Kong said.
