Woburn-based Bioss Inc. has signed a new lease at 500 West Cummings Park in Woburn. The 5,000-square-foot lease represents the biotech firm’s sixth expansion with Woburn-based commercial real estate firm Cummings Properties in four years. 

Bioss initially leased from Cummings Properties via its executive office suites division in 2010 for less than 200 square feet of space. The company underwent four expansions before moving into a larger traditional office space in 500 West Cummings Park in July of this year. Due to its continued rapid growth, Bioss has expanded again.

Bioss is an antibody manufacturer that provides custom antibody and peptide services for biological research. Its clients include academic researchers from MIT and Harvard University, national organizations such as the FDA and the National Institutes of Health and industrial customers such as Genzyme and Merck. The Cummings Park space features a shipping and receiving area to help the company distribute its products.
