Seventh Sense Biosystems (7SBio) has leased 9,000 square feet of office, lab and clean room space at Cummings Properties’ 200 Boston Ave. in Medford for expansion.

Founded in 2008, the company develops blood collection and diagnostic platforms.

7SBio is one of four companies that have moved from Cambridge to Cummings Properties’ suburban locations for expansion this year, along with Blue Stream Laboratories, CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals and Peritia.

Cushman & Wakefield represented 7SBio in the transaction. Cummings Properties’ Leasing Manager Derek Cook represented ownership.

196/200 Boston Ave. contains 20 businesses including 12 life science companies and Tufts University’s Bio-cluster Lab.

“The facility at 200 Boston is the right combination of quality laboratory and manufacturing space, value and access to the entire metro area that we were looking for as we begin to commercialize our first products in 2016,” CEO Howard Weisman said in a statement.
