Dexter Southfield School of Brookline has sold a waterfront parcel in Bourne for $3.2 million to a buyer who plans to use it as a family compound.

The 11-acre property at 586 Shore Road in the Monument Beach neighborhood was previously home to the Briarwood Conference Center & Marine Science complex. It includes six structures, and borders 20 acres of conservation land.

Colliers International’s Jim Elcock, Christopher Sower, David Goodhue and Kevin Brawley represented the seller.
