Industrial developer Campanelli has acquired the Cisco Systems office campus near Interstate 495 on the Boxborough-Harvard border, including 110 acres that are suitable for development.

The campus was completed in 2002 and contains 410,000 square feet of office space in three buildings at 200, 300 and 500 Beaver Brook Road. It offers an “attractive repositioning opportunity” for the new owners, according to marketing materials by JLL Boston which represented seller Cisco Systems.

Campanelli, which paid $10.5 million for the property on June 23, did not respond to requests for comment.

Cisco Systems, Boxborough’s largest taxpayer, notified town officials in mid-2020 that it was putting the campus on the market. The company has indicated it is interested in leasing back one of the buildings totaling 117,593 square feet.

The Cisco campus has 110 developable acres in Boxborough that are currently zoned for office park use.
