Cambridge-based automotive shopping site CarGurus has signed a lease for additional space in Cambridge.

The company secured 30,534 square feet at 55 Cambridge Parkway in East Cambridge for an extended lease term. The property is owned by Invesco, who purchased the building in 2006.

The property at 55 Cambridge Parkway was built in 1985, and is located along the Charles River.

The Lincoln Property Co. represented Invesco in the deal while CarGurus was represented CBRE.

“With the great views of the Boston skyline and Charles River, private outdoor balcony, ample parking and bike storage, updated lobby and direct connection to the Royal Sonesta with multiple food and beverage options, conference center space and fitness and pool center, the building hits the majority, if not all of a tenant’s ‘wish list,’” Jeffery C. Moore, Lincoln Property Co. vice president, said in a statement.
