Cogentix Medical is relocating to Westborough.
The global medical device company has signed a 10-year lease for a 24,400-square-foot clean manufacturing facility at 135 Flanders Road.
The building at 135 Flanders Road is situated within Flanders Park, a four-building industrial park comprising 105,500 square feet of office and R&D space. Cogentix Medical will use the space to manufacture its EndoSheath technology, a state-of-the-art protective microbial barrier used for endoscopies.
Cogentix Medical was formed in March by the merger between Minnetonka-based Uroplasty and New York-based Vision-Sciences. The company is scheduled to relocate from its current facility based in Natick and begin occupying the Flanders Road property in August.
Cushman & Wakefield Executive Vice President J.R. McDonald, Director Matt Morgan and Associate Tyler McGrail represented Cogentix Medical in the transaction. CBRE’s Bob McGuire and Alison Powers represented the landlord.
