Dorchester-based College Hype, a company which manufactures custom apparel for schools, media outlets and corporate organizations, has expanded its facility.

The company added 3,000 square feet to its facility at 540 Gallivan Boulevard. The space will house a six-head embroidery machine that assists with manufacturing the shirts, jackets and other apparel.

College Hype invested more than $100,000 customizing the new space as well as acquiring new embroidery equipment, according to a press release.
