The Hamilton Co. Charitable Foundation has pledged $1 million to the West End House in Allston to support expanded programs and facilities for at-risk youth throughout Boston.

Bay State Savings Bank

Bay State Savings Bank sponsored free public hearing screenings in several of its branch locations in collaboration with Worcester State University’s Speech-Language-Hearing Center.

 

Belmont Savings Bank

Belmont Savings Bank donated $82,000 to 14 local organizations including the Belmont Youth Basketball Association, Waltham YMCA and the West Suburban YMCA as part of its latest round of quarterly giving. With these contributions, the foundation has giving away more than $500,000 since its founding in 2012.

Greylock Federal Credit Union

Two teams of women from Greylock Federal Credit Union recently participated in Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program. The teams helped with construction at 187 Francis Ave. in Pittsfield.

The Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors sponsored the new community outreach campaign, Welcome Home, to assist individuals who are leaving shelters to enter housing for the first time.

 

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust has donated $3,000 and become the first major sponsor of the new, student-initiated Laptops for Vets program at Mount Wachusett Community College, which is aimed at helping veteran students succeed in their studies.
