A team from Pembroke-based Acella Construction Corp. celebrated its 17th year participating in the Rodman Ride for Kids, and raised nearly $20,0000 for the event.

Fall River-based BankFive donated $13,000 to Southeastern Massachusetts food pantries this season.

Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

The Hyannis-based Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod made $55,000 in grants to local nonprofits in the fourth quarter, as part of the $180,000 it gave to 22 nonprofits Cape-wide for all of 2019.

A team from the Bank also made a toy delivery to Cape Cod’s “Stuff a Bus” program in support of Toys for Tots, delivering several sacks of toys that were among the 26,471 donated by Cape Codders this year.Coop President and CEO Lisa Oliver also delivered hundreds of toys, gift cards and supplies to The Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod in Mashpee on Dec. 17. The items were collected in branches as part of the bank’s “9th Annual Stuff a Stocking” Program and will be distributed to families in need or used to support the club’s programming.

Cummings Properties

Hundreds of local nonprofits recently benefited from a collective $553,000 in funding from Cummings Properties’ Cummings Community Giving program. This annual philanthropic initiative invites employees to select a local charity to receive a $1,000 donation in their honor.

IC Federal Credit Union

Fitchburg-based IC Credit Union gave $1,000 to kick off their IC Cares to Share debit card program, which makes a donation to Fitchburg’s St. Bernard’s Elementary School for every purchase made using Cares to Share debit cards.

Jack Conway & Co.

Norwell-based Jack Conway & Co.sponsored a table at South Shore Health’s Moonlight & Miracle Gala on Oct. 18. The gala raised more than $760,000 for in support of programs and services that will help patients struggling with substance use disorders and behavioral health challenges.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank donated $10,000 to the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired to support their assistive technology training center located at the Natick Community-Senior Center.

Polish National Credit Union

The Chicopee-based Polish National Credit Union donated $10,000 to the Chicopee Police Department to buy a drone for police use during searches, rescues and crash reconstructions.

Rockland Trust

The Rockland Trust-Blue Hills Charitable Foundation presented a three-year grant totaling $30,000 to NeighborWorks Housing Solutions to support affordable housing programs and assistance across southern Massachusetts.

Rollstone Bank & Trust

More than 180 foster families we able to pick from among more than 2,300 gifts as Christmas presents for their foster children this weekend, as part of the Fostering Change Inc. annual holiday pickup event at the Leominster Knights of Columbus Hall, sponsored by Leominster-based Rollstone Bank & Trust.

RTN Federal Credit Union

The RTN Federal Credit Union Employees Community Outreach Committee sponsored and served dinner on Dec.10 for close to 60 men and women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham.

Turner Construction Co.

Employees from Turner’s Boston Business Unit came together for the seventh year to donate 216 pairs of boots and gift cards to help support Horizons for Homeless Children in Dorchester, Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. Turner staff participated in the drive from various locations and jobsites, and were ultimately able to collect enough donations to provide every child in each of the centers, and their siblings, a new pair of boots.

Workers Credit Union

Fitchburg-based Workers Credit Union raised $42,433.98 for the Greater Gardner Relay for Life, which funds cancer research along with things like free rides to chemotherapy, nights at area hotels near treatment hospitals and a 24/7 helpline for answers and support. This year’s amount is $16,000 more than the team’s original goal of $26,000.
