In response to a request for $100,000 from a group of non-profit agencies to assist individuals and families on the South Coast disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Swansea-based BayCoast Bank and its affiliates made donations totaling $128,000.
Consigli Construction
Consigli Construction CEO Anthony Consigli is volunteering to conduct virtual merit badge training as part of the Boy Scouts Spirit of Adventure Council Virtual Guest Speaker Series. The Virtual Guest Series features top professionals engaging with boys and girls and inspiring them with their career stories.
The Cooperative Bank
The Roslindale-based Coopeartive Bank is donating $2,500 each to Boston-area food pantries Harvest On Vine in Charlestown, Roses Bounty in West Roxbury, the Roslindale Food Pantry and the Jamaica Plain Food Pantry.
Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod
The Hyannis-based Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is giving $200,000 to community groups helping address the coronavirus pandemic: $25,000 to both the Major Crisis Relief Fund and Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation; $60,000 divided equally between Cape & Islands United Way, The Cape Cod Foundation Strategic Emergency Response Fund and the Workforce Housing Relief Fund of Housing Assistance Corp.; $10,000 each to the Community Health Center of Cape Cod, the Duffy Health Center, Harbor Community Health Center and Outer Cape Health Centers; and $50,000 in micro-grants to nonprofits who are directly serving COVID-19 related needs in the community, and/or whose clients are disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and its economic fallout.
Cummings Properties
Woburn-based Cummings Properties has announced a $500,000 grant, through its foundation, to the Massachusetts COVID-19 Relief Fund, to help support at-risk community members. The fund is partnering with nonprofits throughout the state to understand where needs are most pronounced and provide critical services.
Cummings has also made five $100,000 grants to local emergency funds in greater Boston: The Business Equity COVID-19 Emergency Fund, Essex County Community Foundation’s Essex County COVID-19 Response Fund, Greater Lowell Community Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley’s COVID-19 Family Support Fund and Winchester Hospital’s President’s Emergency Relief Fund.

Marlborough-based Digital Federal Credit Union will be a platinum-level sponsor of the EVERFI National Financial Bee, a first-of-its-kind, nationwide financial literacy challenge open to students in grades 7 through 10.
Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union
Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has committed to giving $200,000 to the the Entrepreneurship Center @CTI to Launch The Acre Catalyst Fund, a new collaborative project that will enhance business and entrepreneurial opportunities within Lowell’s Acre neighborhood.
MutualOne Bank
Framingham-based MutualOne Bank has donated $5,000 to Daniel’s Table. The donation will help the Framingham-based food pantry address the significant increase in the number of people at risk of going hungry during the coronavirus outbreak.
The bank also gave $2,500 to the Happy Birthday Baby program at Framingham’s First Baptist Church. . The funds will be used to help volunteers provide care packages for low-income mothers and pregnant teens.
Pentucket Bank
Haverhill-based Pentucket Bank announced it will be giving three local groups unrestricted $2,500 grants as part of an effort to boost charitable giving by 20 percent this year. The groups are: Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Salem Family Resources and the Essex Country Community Foundation.
Webster Bank
Waterbury, Connecticut-based Webster Bank announced today a $100,000 donation to United Way COVID-19 Response Funds as part of its commitment to support its local communities. The funds assist agencies and families which are facing financial challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide assistance for basic needs including food, shelter, health care and childcare.
