Bridgewater Savings Bank

Bridgewater Savings Bank and its employees donated $30,000 to local food pantries in Chelsea, along with pantries in Bridgewaer, Brockton Scituate and elsewhere in Southeastern Massachusetts.

East Boston Savings Bank

East Boston Savings Bank has partnered with Carlo’s Catering in East Boston, DeMaino’s Restaurant in Revere, Tavolo Ristorante in Dorchester and Shenannigan’s Restaurant in South Boston to supply over 1,300 meals in residents of those communities during the month of May. Recipients include: front line workers and their families, families who are out of work or home due to illness and seniors living in senior residences. Distributions are being done by the staff and volunteers from East Boston Social Centers, the city of Revere, Dorchester YMCA and South Boston Neighborhood House.

Hanscom Federal Credit Union

Hanscom Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 to the Massachusetts COVID-19 Relief Fund and another $5,000 to the Project CommUNITY: 5X5 Food Drive in support of The Greater Boston Food Bank.

The credit union also awarded seven high school students with scholarships. Five credit union members and two students from local US Air Force Junior ROTC units each received $1,500 to assist with college expenses.

HarborOne Bank

Brockton-based HarborOne Bank has made an additional $125,000 in donations to nonprofits responding to the coronavirus pandemic across Greater Boston, Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, in addition to $250,000 already donated.

Naveo Credit Union

Somerville-based Naveo Credit Union gave $6,000 to the Massachusetts Alliance of Portuguese Speakers and the Somerville Homeless Coalition, as well as relief funds established by the cities of Cambridge and Somerville to assist those most-affected by COVID-19.
