Citizens Bank
Citizens Bank has donated $20,000 to Always Here Home Care, a Boston-based elder caregiver company, and $10,000 to Peabody-based education company Wicked Cool for Kids as part of its Small Business Community Champion Award program.
The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod
The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod announced the distribution of more than $84,000 in grants to local organizations, including $17,500 in relief funds for six organizations serving those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Twelve organizations, in total, received funding.
Cummings Properties
Woburn-based Cummings Properties gave $100,000 to the Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance through its foundation as part of a program to give away $20 million to local nonprofits.
Mechanics Cooperative Bank
Taunton-based Mechanics Cooperative Bank donated 2,000 KN95 masks to the city’s Fire and Police departments, a gift valued at over $5,000.
North Easton Savings Bank
North Easton Savings Bank donated 2,000 masks each to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, Brockton Neighborhood Health Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth to assist the health care providers with their efforts to provide personal protective equipment, or PPE, to their employees.
RTN Federal Credit Union
This week, Waltham-based RTN Federal Credit Union donated and had lunch delivered to Waltham police officers and Waltham firefighters. The lunch was a token of appreciation to thank the city’s first responders for their efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to welcome city of Waltham employees to RTN following its merger with Waltham Municipal Employees Credit Union earlier this year.
RTN also gave $7,500 to Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s COVID-19 Response Fund. The Brigham is one of RTN’s employer groups and RTN is the credit union for Brigham employees.
