Cornerstone Bank

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank gave $2,500 to the Worcester Together Fund, a partnership between the United Way of Central Massachusetts, the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the city of Worcester and which is intended to help the area recover from the effects of COVID-19.

Cummings Properties

Woburn-based Cummings Properties donated a short-term summer program facility to Burbank YMCA of Reading to assist the camp in adhering to social distancing measures. The Y will host overflow campers at “Camp Cummings,” a 12,000-square-foot suite at 206 West Cummings Park, Woburn, for the duration of the summer.

Dedham Savings Bank

Dedham Savings Bank pledged to make $50,000 in grants to support local food pantries. The 20 selected food pantries have been notified by the bank and will receive grant funds within the week.

Florence Bank

Florence Bank has donated $7,500 to the Easthampton Community Center to support its food pantry program, which provides 6,000 families in 22 area towns with food each month.

Rockland Trust

Hanover-based Rockland Trust gave 11 area students scholarships worth an unspecified amount for academic performance, community involvement, extracurricular activities and an essay on the importance of community service.
