City Realty Group

Boston-based multifamily developer and landlord City Realty Group donated 10 new Chromebooks to Saint Brendan School in Dorchester, via its City Kids nonprofit, to help students with remote learning and at school.

Curtis Construction Co.

Stoughton-based Curtis Construction Co. gave $10,000 to Brockton-based NeighborWorks Housing Solutions to help fuel the nonprofit’s emergency assistance efforts for vulnerable families and formerly homeless individuals in housing it owns in Quincy and Weymouth.

Dedham Savings Bank

Dedham Savings Bank gave $2,891 to the Newton Community Farm. The donation will allow the farm to expand its deer fencing from the current 1-acre plot to its planned 2-acre expansion.

Hanscom Federal Credit Union

Hanscom Federal Credit Union collected and donated 142 new blankets for children in need across Massachusetts as part of an annual drive to support the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

Iron Workers Local 7

South Boston-based Iron Workers Local 7 held a school supply drive at their union hall on Feb. 13, gathering over $3,000 worth of notebooks, crayons, binders, pencils, and other supplies for Boston students. Union members then sorted the supplies into bags to be given out to individual families and to the Mario Umana Academy in East Boston.

Monson Savings Bank

Monson Savings Bank arranged to have a certified therapy dog visit all its locations to give comfort to employees feeling the strain of nearly 12 months of social distancing and relative isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

North Easton Savings Bank

North Easton Savings Bank donated $3,000 to the Whitman Public Library to cover the cost of creating a safe, enclosed space for young children and their families visiting the library, including fencing for an outdoor interactive play area.
