BankFive

Fall River-based BankFive announced a pair of two-year, $10,000 donations to Community Connections Inc. and YMCA Cape Cod.

Metro Credit Union

Chelsea-based Metro Credit Union recently partnered with The Salvation Army in their Angel Tree Toy Drive Program to collect toys for children ahead of the holidays. Metro employees fulfilled holiday wish lists for 75 children in need.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank awarded Family Promise MetroWest its annual Robert P. Lamprey Community Grant, worth $20,000. Family Promise Metrowest serves families experiencing homelessness or threatened with imminent eviction or shelter entry.

Northern Bank 

Heading Home, a nonprofit agency that works to end homelessness, recently dedicated one of its emergency shelter and transitional housing centers to volunteers from Medford-based Northern Bank. Northern Bank partners with Heading Home through ongoing financial donations – including $110,000 over the course of 2021 – volunteer hours and real estate and financial thought leadership.

Webster Five

Auburn-based Webster Five gave $35,000 to help local families facing food insecurity and surging home heating costs. The bank is giving $20,000 to the Worcester County Food Bank, $10,000 to the Worcester Community Action Council’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program and $5,000 to the food pantry at the veteran-family- assistance organization, Project New Hope.
