Cummings 

Seven local nonprofits just learned they are one step closer to achieving maximum impact, thanks to sizable cash infusions from Cummings Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Woburn-based commercial landlord Cummings. Through its brand-new Nonprofits Experiencing Transformation Grants program, the Woburn-based foundation divvied up an additional $5 million among current grantees that are on the precipice of reaching new heights. 

Harvard University Employees Credit Union 

As part of the festivities for the opening of Harvard University Employees Credit Union’s new location in the Longwood Medical Area, the credit union presented Boston Children’s Hospital with a $10,000 donation. 

Martha’s Vineyard Bank 

Martha’s Vineyard Bank Charitable Foundation announced that it had awarded $600,000 in funding to three nonprofit organizations for funding specific projects to meet health and human needs and youth development. 

Naveo Credit Union 

Naveo Credit Union employees dressed up in costumes on Monday, October 31 and raised over $160 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during their Costumed for a Cure event. 

Newburyport Bank 

The Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $25,000 to The Pettengill House, Inc. This donation is being used to support the organization’s Capital Campaign. 

Rollstone Bank & Trust 

Fitchburg-based Rollstone Bank & Trust donated $2,500 to the Fitchburg Police Relief Association who help support our motor unit.  The donation will help supply jackets for five officers who joined the Motorcycle Unit after completing a 40-hour training course. 

The Village Bank 

The Village Bank has partnered with Middlesex Human Services Agency for the eighth annual Warm Winter Wishes drive to help local homeless families and individuals.
