Amesbury-based BankProv announced it has given more than $300,000 over the last year to charities and nonprofits including Our Neighbors’ Table, the Granite State Children’s Alliance, Families in Transition, Anna Jaques Hospital and the Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association, Boys and Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley and Manchester, Cross Roads House and Nourishing the North Shore.
The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod
The Hyannis-based Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod announced $25,000 in grants to four local nonprofit organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the region:
- $10,000 to Falmouth Housing Trust to support the creation of four new affordable homes in the town.
- $5,000 to B FREE Coaching & Wellness to support its suicide prevention programming, which includes an integrated approach to mental health services geared to marginalized communities.
- $5,000 to WE CAN to increase access to its services for women living and working in the Mid-Cape area.
- $5,000 to WellStrong, a fitness and wellness community for people in recovery from substance abuse disorder.
Leominster Credit Union
Leominster Credit Union announced a donation of $5,000 to the city’s Mayor’s Energy Program, which helps Leominster residents in need pay for heating bills.
Monson Savings Bank
Monson Savings Bank recently gave $2,500 to to Girls Inc. of the Valley, a nonprofit based in Holyoke that offers a “pro-girl environment based on mutual respect” to Pioneer Valley youth ages 5 to 18.
