Advanced Property Management

Boston-based Advanced Property Management joined with VFW Post 1018 and Boston Police District 18, which covers the Hyde Park neighborhood, to host an annual Christmas party for neighborhood children, particularly underserved children. Advanced Property Management’s unspecified donation “helped meet the increased demand for toys,” the company said in its announcement.

Freedom Credit Union

Throughout the month of November, Springfield-based Freedom Credit Union collected cash donations at all its branches on behalf of the Westover Galaxy Community Council to support military service members and their families at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee. A total of $2,032.83 was collected from members, staff and the community, which Freedom matched for a total donation of $4,065.66.

NeighborWorks Housing Solutions 

Brockton-based housing service provider NeighborWorks Housing Solutions raised $265,000 during its recent “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala, held at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. NEI General Contracting returned as the event’s main sponsor, with Curtis Construction, Bank of Canton, Colonial Federal Savings Bank, Eastern Bank, Rockland Trust, Dellbrook JKS, Dedham Savings and North Easton Savings Bank also helping sponsor the event.

North Shore Bank

Peabody-based North Shore Bank gave $40,000 to Harborlight Homes, an affordable housing and supportive services provider working on the North Shore.
