Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank, based in Taunton, gave a $10,000 grant to the city-run Taunton Teen Empowerment Program, which runs personal development workshops for teens to learn life skills and build confidence.

Charles River Bank

Medway-based Charles River Bank gave $1,000 to the Bellingham Senior Center to aid with their lunch program and $500 to Friends of the Bellingham Public Library to purchase passes to the Ecotarium in Worcester and Zoo New England, which operates the Stone Zoo in Stoneham and the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston.

Dedham Savings

Dedham Savings announced it gave $50,000 worth of grants to an unspecified number local food pantries in communities served by the bank.

Griffin Electric

Holliston-based contractor Griffin Electric announced its business units in New England and in the South had collectively donated “hundreds of toys and gifts” to families in need via the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, and that its Holliston workers bought an unspecified number of gifts for local residents in need through the local food pantry.

Lee Bank

Lee Bank gave $46,300 to 10 Berkshire area organizations, from immigrant services groups to theater companies, in grants ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 intended to support their local programming.

Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo gave $30,000 to Brockton-based homelessness services and housing nonprofit NeighborWorks Housing Solutions. The nonprofit said that Wells’ donation will provide flexible resources to be deployed across all programs and dedicated to areas of greatest need.
