Acella Construction Corporation

Acella Construction Corp. recently completed construction of a camel structure for the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston. The structure will serve as a nighttime shelter for two domesticated camels.

 

The Dedham Institution for Savings

The Dedham Institution for Savings Foundation donated $5,000 to the Dedham Historical Society & Museum to help the museum safely scan digital copies of very old, extremely fragile historical documents.

The bank also donated $5,000 to Dedham Television to fund capital investments for Dedham Television’s new musical program, “The 502 Sessions.”

 

Homefield Credit Union

Homefield Credit Union served as the corporate sponsor for the 30th Anniversary of the Valley Friendship Tour. A volunteer group of Homefield Credit Union also participated in the event and raised more than $3,000.

 

Polish National Credit Union

The Polish National Credit Union (PNCU) held a month-long food drive at all branch locations, collecting non-perishable food items, toiletries and school supplies and donated a pallet of bottled water. Additionally, PNCU allowed employees to dress down if they donated two food items.

 

The Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley

The Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley awarded a total of $10,856 in scholarships to 14 students.

 

Wynn Resorts

Wynn Resorts contributed $25,000 to the Mystic River Watershed Association to support water quality monitoring and habitat restoration programs in the Mystic River Watershed. Wynn Resorts is expected to spend $20 to $30 million to clean up the contaminated former chemical-plant site that has been inaccessible and unusable to the public for more than 100 years.
