BofA, HarborOne and North Shore Bank are among those organizations announcing changes to personnel in this week’s roundup.

 

Bank of America

Bank of America granted more than $500,000 to nonprofits in the Greater Boston area in recognition of this week’s Giving Tuesday.

 

Belmont Savings Bank

Belmont Savings Bank has announced it will support the Big Wishes Gift Drive to benefit the Home for Little Wanderers. Participants can visit branches in Belmont, Watertown or Cambridge and select an ornament from the giving trees on display until Dec. 15. The ornaments indicate the gender and age of a child, along with the type of gift needed.

 

Country Bank

Country Bank has announced a $1 million contribution towards the construction of Baystate Wing Hospital’s new Emergency Department.

 

HarborOne Bank

Through the bank’s second annual Harvest for Hunger program, HarborOne Bank collected and donated over 5,500 food items to nonprofit organizations across Southeastern Massachusetts in order to help people in need. The bank’s 14 retail locations held food donation drives during November, delivering the food items over the last week. The bank also donated over $15,000 to community nonprofit organizations.

 

Naveo Credit Union

Naveo Credit Union collected non-perishables during its annual Harvest Food Drive to benefit the Somerville Homeless Coalition’s Project Soup food pantry.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank has announced its branches will collect new, unwrapped holiday gifts to benefit the families in residence of local shelters operated by Citizens Inn through Dec. 16. Additionally, North Shore Bank Saugus branches will collect toys as part of the annual Saugus Firefighters Toy Drive and its Merrimac and Newton, New Hampshire branch will collect to benefit Toys for Tots.

 

Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust recently distributed $40,000 to police and fire departments in Fitchburg, Leominster, Harvard and Townsend.

 

Webster Bank

Webster Bank partnered with the Greater Boston Food Bank on Giving Tuesday to make a dollar-for-dollar match for every contribution made to The Greater Boston Food Bank.
