BankFive

BankFive has donated a total of $7,000 to several soup kitchens and similar organizations in Fall River and the surrounding areas.

 

Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank announced that its foundation has partnered with NESN to award a $9,600 grant to Soldier On through the Berkshire Bank Exciting Assists Grant program.

 

Callahan Construction Managers

Callahan Construction Managers, a Bridgewater-based full-service construction management firm, recently volunteered at Rosie’s Place in Boston. Employees helped cook, serve and clean to support the nonprofit organization’s mission of providing a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives.

 

Commerce Bank

Commerce Bank presented hundreds of toys and a check for $500 to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program for 2016. A corporate sponsor of Toys for Tots, Commerce Bank collected the toys through its 16 offices in Central Massachusetts and Boston.

 

Country Bank

Debbie Blais Real Estate

Debbie Blais Real Estate supported The Giving Tree program, sponsored by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, to assist needy families in Middleboro, Lakeville, Carver and Rochester.

 

East Boston Savings Bank

East Boston Savings Bank awarded over $300,000 in grants to 87 nonprofits throughout Greater Boston at its annual Charitable Foundation Breakfast. East Cambridge Savings Bank also announced that a portion of the proceeds from its branded piggy banks, available for sale for $10, will go toward Citizens Energy Corp.’s Fuel Assistance Program to help local families in need.

 

Santander Bank

Santander Bank presented Urban Edge with a $35,000 check from the bank’s charitable grant program. The funds will support Urban Edge’s Homeownership and Financial Education program which offers first-time homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention counseling and student loan counseling.
