Belmont Savings Bank

The Belmont Savings Bank Foundation donated a total of $30,000 in grants to three Watertown community organizations: the Armenian Cultural And Educational Center to update its multimedia/meeting room, Watertown Boys and Girls Club to support its tutoring program and the Watertown Education Foundation to refurbish the Watertown Middle School kitchen.

 

Belmont also donated $35,000 after matching contributions for the resurfacing of the Belmont High School gymnasium floor.

Berkshire Bank awarded more than $1 million in grants from Jan. 1 to June 30 to 301 nonprofits across Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Vermont.

 

Bridgewater Savings Bank

Bridgewater Savings Bank donated $2,500 to Pro-Home Inc., an organization helping first-time homebuyers and those in debt.

 

Commerce Bank

Commerce Bank donated $5,000 to Easter Seals Massachusetts to support its programs and services for children and adults with disabilities.

 

Dedham Institution for Savings

The Dedham Institution for Savings awarded $2,500 to Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center in Dorchester to help fund summer scholarships.

Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford P.C. is sponsoring the Ellie Fund’s “Real Golfers Wear Pink” Charity Golf Tournament presented by Wal-Mart at the Wollaston Golf Club in Milton on Aug. 31.

 

MutualOne Bank

MutualOne gave a $2,500 grant to help fund the Framingham Police Department’s

National Night Out on Aug. 4, which is an annual community-police awareness event.

 

SpencerBANK

SpencerBANK donated $1,000 to the Worcester chapter of StandUp for Kids, which aims to end youth homelessness.

 

Webster Five Foundation

The Webster Five Foundation will donate $15,000 to Quinsigamond Community College to go towards QCC’s Regional Investment in Service and Education campaign.
