The property at 214 Market St. in Rockland, formerly known as the North River Medical Building, has been sold to Dr. Zaher Hammoud, who intends on opening a dental practice in the building.

The sales price was not disclosed, but the property was assessed at $704,200 this year, according to data from Banker & Tradesman’s parent company, The Warren Group.

The Conrad Group represented the owner, Norma Realty Trust.

The 6,000-square-foot building is situated on 1.8 acres of land and is prominently visible on Route 139.

The buyer said he also intends to offer medical space to other doctors as well. Hammoud expects to make major renovations to the property prior to occupancy, according to The Conrad Group.

The sales team of Robert S. Conrad and Robert McCourt represented both the buyer ands in this transaction.
