A 9-story office development that’s sat on the back burner in Back Bay for a decade is set to begin in late 2020.

The Druker Co. of Boston said it wants to break ground in the third quarter of 2020 on the 221,230-square-foot project at 350 Boylston St.

Plans call for ground floor retail and restaurant space, a 6,000-square-foot fitness center and upper level office space, according to a filing with the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

The site spans 27,654 square feet at Arlington and Boylston streets across from the Public Garden and contains four parcels, each with an existing commercial building ranging from 2 to 5 stories.

The plans were originally approved by the BPDA in 2009.
