Everett Multifamily Complex Sold For $56M

Boston-based Taurus Investment Holdings LLC has acquired the 190-unit Wellington Parkside apartment complex from SMC Management for $56 million.

Completed in 2015, the Class A property at 12 Valley St. is located 4 miles from downtown Boston. The Dolben Co. will provide property management.

Taurus owns roughly 1,230 multifamily units in Greater Boston, including its December acquisition of the 404-unit South Winds in Fall River.

CEO Peter Merrigan told Banker & Tradesman that Taurus is looking to acquire transit-oriented multifamily properties with access to downtown Boston.

Terence Scott of TMS Real Estate Investment Advisors and Simon Butler and Biria St. John of CBRE New England marketed the property on behalf of SMC Management.
