Lexington was named the second-best small U.S. city in which to live, followed by Milton (No. 4), Needham (No. 8), Newton (No. 11) and Melrose (No. 12).

Five Massachusetts towns were also ranked among the highest insured – Arlington, Needham and Wellesley tied for the No. 1 spot – and Lexington and Milton tied with Los Altos, California for the No. 4 spot.
