The former host of the A&E show “Flipping Boston” has launched a commercial real estate investment firm and announced a partnership with another reality TV figure.

Freedom Venture Investments, founded earlier this year with “Flipping Boston” host Dave Seymour as its CEO, will team up with Kevin Harrington, one of the original judges – or “sharks” – on ABC’s “Shark Tank” as the private equity real estate firm seeks to grow. Neither the nature of the partnership or Harrington’s role at Freedom Ventures was unspecified in the announcement, but touted Harrington’s past as a successful television product marketing entrepreneur and his work with celebrity entrepreneurs like George Foreman.

“We are ecstatic to have Kevin join us as he brings a wealth of knowledge, credibility, and energy in creating success for businesses,” Seymour said in a statement.

Freedom Venture Investments, based in Danvers, has launched an investment fund targeted at core-plus properties in the multifamily market, the announcement noted.
