Four apartment buildings in Central and Western Massachusetts have sold for a total of $8.2 million.

Springfield-based Chestnut Realty Management purchased three Westfield buildings in a $6.55 million comprising 116 residential units: The Columbus Avenue Apartments at 91-99 Elm St., with 42 one-bedroom units and 10,000 square feet of fully leased commercial space; The Pilgrim Village Apartments at 8-16 & 11-21 Monroe St., with 36 one-bedroom units; and The Van Deusen Apartments at 42 Arnold St., with 22 one-bedroom units, three two-bedroom units and 13 loft apartments. The seller was Lenox-based WFL Assoc., a long-time owner and operator of the portfolio.

Spencer Montrose LLP sold a 20-unit multifamily property in Spencer for $1.65 million. The Vista Lane Apartments is a professionally managed property comprising two buildings of 10 units each, located approximately 10 miles from downtown Worcester. All of the units are large two-bedroom floor plans with washer/dryer, private patios, ample storage and off-street parking. The buyer was a private multifamily investor.

Edward Jordan, managing director at Northeast Private Client Group, exclusively represented the sellers in each of the transactions. Donato and Drew Kirkland, also from Northeast Private Client Group, represented the buyers in the transactions which closed on Dec. 3 and Dec. 15.
