Full Building Tenant Inks Lease in West Newton

After acquiring a two-building Newton portfolio in September for nearly $25 million, Framingham-based Calare Properties has landed a full building tenant for one of the properties.

Forge Team Inc. leased 24,380 square feet at 66 Rowe St. The property includes a combination of flex and office space with Massachusetts Turnpike visibility.

The Framingham developer also is updating the 44,495-square-foot 77 Rowe St. for future tenants. The building is suitable for uses including manufacturing, R&D, tech, pharma/lab and warehouse space, according to Calare Properties.

The capital improvement program includes HVAC upgrades, facade updates, reconfiguration of interior spaces and resurfaced parking.
