A nationwide provider of white-glove delivery service for high-end appliances has signed a full-building lease at a newly-acquired property in Taunton’s Myles Standish Industrial Park.

Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery will occupy all 42,500 square feet in the building at 295 Constitution Drive, which was recently acquired by Berkeley Partners of San Francisco for $4.875 million.

The property was recently developed by Turner Brothers construction and contains 28-foot clear heights, ESFR sprinkler system and 12 loading docks.

Colliers International arranged both the acquisition as well as the lease.

“Greater Boston is incredibly supply constrained and demand heavy for this type of product right now, so we were confident we could deliver an optimal solution to Turner in a short timeframe,” Ovar Osvold, senior vice president, said in a statement.

The 40-million-square-foot Route 495 south industrial submarket had 1.3 million square feet of positive absorption in 2020 and a vacancy rate of 8.6 percent at year’s end, according to Colliers research.

Rachel Marks of CBRE represented Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery in the leasing transaction.
