Greystar’s first industrial development in Massachusetts will create nearly 413,000 square feet of distribution space scheduled for completion in late 2023.
The developer of projects such as Boston’s 212 Stuart apartment tower has a $2-billion national pipeline of logistics projects, including the recent groundbreaking at 798 North Bedford St. (Route 18) in East Bridgewater.
JLL is the leasing agent for the project.
Greystar’s Northeast region office, led by Managing Director Gary Kerr, has been active in Greater Boston development including this summer’s groundbreaking of the 74M life science tower in Somerville and a 450-unit apartment complex in Everett.
“Greystar’s logistics team, which possesses local knowledge in the industrial space, is at the heart of this entrance into the Greater Boston market and has us well-positioned to emerge as a leader in the development of the Boston area’s logistics supply to meet the evolving needs of the local market,” Kerr said in a statement.
The firm has 15 million square feet of industrial space under way nationally.
