South Shore Habitat for Humanity was the successful bidder in a proposal to construct a new three-bedroom affordable home on Electric Avenue in Easton. This is South Shore Habitat for Humanity’s fourth home built in Easton.

“There is such a need for affordable housing and we are so thrilled to be working with the town of Easton again on this project,” Martine Taylor, executive director at South Shore Habitat for Humanity, said in a statement. “The town has made affordable housing a priority and we are thrilled to be one of their partners.”

The organization is looking for volunteers, financial contributors and ambassadors to donate to the project and spread the word. Donations of building materials, services like plumbing and roofing, help keep the home affordable, Habitat for Humanity said in a statement.
