A Harvard Square hotel restaurant has an new look following a six-week renovation program that replaced an internet lounge with a new private dining area and updated the bar section’s decor.

The six-week renovation project at the 175-room Sheraton Commander Hotel’s Nubar enables two dining rooms to be converted into private dining spaces and converted the former LINK Internet lounge into a 20-seat private room. Twinkling Edison bulb-chandeliers, wall sconces and a mosaic porcelain tile fireplace were installed in the bar area.

Nauset Construction led the six-week project which also included new flooring and modifications to MEP systems.

Nauset collaborated with Hardaway | Sziabowski Architects on the project, and Maddie Gregory of CDI Design was responsible for the interior design work, which included all new artwork and furniture.
