Waltham-based Hobbs Brook Management LLC has acquired 81 Wyman St. from Thermo Fisher Scientific for $16.2 million. Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. will remain the building’s sole tenant.

The 85,000-square-foot building with glass entries features an on-site dining and fitness facility, as well as surface parking for approximately 280 cars.

“With 13 buildings existing in the Hobbs Brook Office Park, it made complete sense for Hobbs Brook to add 81 Wyman St. to our portfolio when it went on the market,” Kevin Casey, Hobbs Brook Management’s first vice president of construction and leasing, said in a statement.

Charles E. Batchelder of Wyman Street Advisors represented Hobbs Brook Management. Alex Dauria and Tamie Thompson of JLL were Thermo Fisher Scientific’s brokers.
