A 21,500-square-foot renovation project created an expanded student health care service facility at Boston University. 

The health center at 881 Commonwealth Ave. remained open while Chapman Construction/Design completed a gut renovation and construction of 30 new therapy offices. The multi-phase project also included construction of 10 primary care exam rooms, 14 offices, new soundproofing, a reception area, break room, rest rooms and LED lighting. 

Designed by architects isgenuity of Boston, the facility houses Boston University’s behavioral medicine staff including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical nurse specialists, licensed mental health clinicians and clinical social workers.
