Companies seeking flexible workspace for events and meetings are driving an increase in bookings at Convene’s facilities in the U.S. and U.K., including Convene Boston’s location at One Boston Place. 

Convene’s office spaces provide collaborative work and event space including in-house catering. Meeting rooms can be configured to accommodate events, conferences, town halls and classroom-style learning. 

Convene partners with office landlords through managed service agreements as well as traditional leases. Clients can reserve space for as little as an hour and as long as multiple weeks. 

The 15,000-square-foot One Boston Place location which opened in 2017 contains six meeting rooms and a tenant lounge. Convene Boston’s bookings have risen 65 percent over the past year. 

In February, Convene acquired etc.venues, adding 39 locations in nine cities in the U.S. and the United Kingdom to its roster of existing venues in Boston, Philadelphia and the District of Columbia.
