• Commercial real estate brokerages’ leasing teams are familiar with many tenants’ recent preferences for open-format, collaborative office space. Avison Young embraced the trend itself when building out its new offices on the top two floors of 200 State St. in Boston.
• IA Interior Architects designed the firm’s new space which features adjustable standing desks, huddle and phone rooms for impromptu meetings and only two private offices.
• An interior staircase leads from Avison Young’s main workspace to a loft-style common area and café on the top floor with breakfast bar, meeting space, polished concrete floors and views of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway and Boston Harbor. The café connects to roof decks that run along the north and south sides of the building.
