Boston-based Suffolk has been selected as construction manager for renovations to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.

Construction began last week on improvements at the north end of the stadium including a redesigned entry plaza.

The 130-foot-tall lighthouse replica will be replaced with a new 218-foot-tall version, including an observation deck that will be accessible to visitors year-round and available for private events. A new 22,200-square-foot high-definition video board will be the largest at an outdoor stadium in the U.S.

The north end of the stadium will add 75,000 square feet of year-round hospitality and function spaces, creating 360-degree connectivity on the upper levels.

They Said It:

“We are honored the Kraft family has entrusted us with this important project, and we look forward to playing a key role in enhancing the experience for Patriots and Revolution fans and event participants at Gillette Stadium for many years to come.”
