  • Cambridge-based nonprofit Addgene is the third life science tenant to lease space at LINX, a 185,000-square-foot office and lab building completed in April.
  • Addgene leased nearly 40,000 square feet at the former Verizon warehouse that Boston-based Boylston Properties converted and expanded into 185,595 square feet of commercial space. Macrolide Pharmaceuticals leased 18,542 square feet at LINX in October, following Cambridge-based C4 Therapeutics’ commitment for 45,000 square feet in July.
  • The transactions brought LINX up to 56 percent occupancy, and pending leases are expected to push the occupancy rate over 90 percent in coming weeks, according to Cushman and Wakefield, which represents ownership.
  • Amenities include an acre of outdoor open and recreation space, lobby cafe, storage for 78 bicycles, showers and lockers and a private shuttle bus to Harvard station on the MBTA’s Red Line.

“Not only does the proximity to Boston and Cambridge make the location attractive to technology and life science companies, but the location offers a walkable, urban neighborhood with new housing, retail, restaurants and two new hotels.”
