Built: 2023-2024

An adaptive reuse project is transforming an 1891 church in Boston’s Bay Village into 18 residential condominiums.

Designed by Boston-based Finegold Alexander Architects, the 41,600-square-foot project preserves and restores the masonry facade. A 7-story insert of condo units designed with complementary materials and triangular bays inspired by the arched windows of the original church nave.

Sustainable designs include all-electric heating and cooling systems and an EV-ready, automated parking system.

They Said It:

“La Victoire embodies our commitment to a sustainable future – preserving history while embracing new energy technologies in line with the City of Boston’s climate goals. This adaptive reuse project is a testament to our dedication to creating spaces that harmonize the past, present, and future.”
