What: Murtha Cullina LLP offices
Where: 33 Arch St., Boston
Built: 2022

Boston-based architects Dyer Brown designed law firm Murtha Cullina’s new offices to emphasize an industrial flair, including a board room with a dramatic exposed steel truss that crosses an expansive glass curtain wall.

Murtha Cullina Partner Sara Bryant and Dyer Brown Principal Rachel Woodhouse, both of whom serve on the Professional Women in Construction board of directors, brainstormed on designs of the 13,000-square-foot suite at 33 Arch St.

After visiting Murtha Cullina’s Hartford, Connecticut office and studying the firm’s culture and workflow, Dyer Brown tailored a program for approximately 30 employees that includes 26 offices, six workstations, conference rooms, huddle space for informal meetings and a Zoom room.

They Said It:

“Our collaboration with Murtha Cullina is exemplary of our approach to workplace strategy and design. Their clarity on goals and openness to experimenting with cutting-edge ideas allowed our workplace team to deliver an engaging, inspiring and healthy environment along with an exciting brand refresh.”
