• Boston-based construction manager Suffolk has completed a 38,000-square-foot, 3-story addition to its Roxbury headquarters.
  Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects to encourage collaboration and innovation, the addition includes collaborative workspaces, an auditorium, conference rooms, a café with outdoor seating, an expanded gym and a second-floor outdoor terrace. The headquarters expansion also includes renovations to the original offices and launch of a Smart Lab to test new technologies used in the construction industry.
• At a recent ribbon cutting, visitors took part in demonstrations of virtual reality devices used to manage construction projects for Suffolk, which has $2.9 billion in annual revenues.
