What: Park-9 Dog Bar
Where: 48 Waters Ave., Everett
Built: 2023
Greater Boston’s first year-round indoor dog park and bar is welcoming two- and four-legged guests to its newly-opened location in Everett’s Fermentation District.
Founded by Chris Kohanski and spouses Emily Gusse and Tess Kohanski, the concept allows dog parents and others to mingle and sip craft brews and cocktails while the canine crowd socializes in on- and off-leash areas under the supervision of “park rangers.”
The 10,000-square-foot space includes two bars and stadium seating. The drink program offers seasonal craft cocktails ranging from the Bob Barker to Double Dog Dare, and a beer list with a New England accent including varieties from Everett’s Night Shift Brewing.
They Said It:
“As Park-9 is steps from the Northern Strand Community Trail and among the area’s premier breweries and distilleries, we are proud to potentially be introducing a new pack to the area and to others in the dog community.”
— Tess Kohanski, co-founder, Park-9
