Insulin pump manufacturer Insulet Corp. will move its corporate headquarters from 9 Oak Park Drive in Bedford to a 90,000-square-foot building at 600 Technology Park Drive in Billerica.

Approximately 500 employees of Insulet and its subsidiary Neighborhood Diabetes will relocate to Billerica later this year. The company is expanding amid rising sales of its new OmniPod tubeless insulin pump, which hit the market last summer. During the third quarter ending Sept. 30, revenue increased 12 percent to $61.1 million, according to SEC filings.

"We are pleased to announce our relocation to a larger space in Billerica, which is a testament to the success and growth Insulet has experienced since its founding in 2000," Duane DeSisto, president and chief executive officer of Insulet, said in a statement.

Cassidy Turley brokered the long-term lease for Insulet and also represented the landlord, The Gutierrez Co. of Burlington. Visnick & Caulfield Assoc. of Boston will provide architectural and engineering services.
