A 2-story parking garage next to a Mission Hill apartment tower would be redeveloped a mid-rise rental complex by owner Jefferson Apartment Group.
The developer proposes subdividing the 45 Worthington St. property and building a 145-unit, 111,500-square-foot complex next to its J-Vue apartment tower.
The building height would range from 45 to 70 feet, according to a project notification form submitted this week to the Boston Planning & Development Agency.
An 85-space underground garage would be shared with the existing J-Vue complex. The proposal creates a half-acre of new open space to the property, while eliminating surface parking. The project would be built with all-electric building systems.
After a series of community meetings, Jefferson Apartment Group increased the proposed number of two-bedroom units and family-sized income-restricted units, according to the submission.
