JLL Boston has been named exclusive leasing agent for One Beacon Street, the million-square-foot office tower owned by MetLife Inc. and Norges Bank Investment Management.

The 37-story tower is currently 82 percent leased to tenants including JP Morgan Chase Bank, Boston Consulting Group and Northwest Mutual.
Completed in 1973, the LEED Platinum-certified building offers “low-rise space with high-rise views” by virtue of its location near the top of Beacon Hill, JLL said. Amenities include the UMass Club, Boston Sports Club and Rebecca’s Café.

“We truly believe this exceptional property can be an exciting home to all types of companies looking for efficient, modern offices that can support a collaborative work environment,” JLL Managing Director Bill Barrack said in a statement.

MetLife and Norges acquired One Beacon in 2014 for $561 million from Boston-based Beacon Capital Partners.
